    With a tangy and spicy flavor, Pimentón de La Vera Picante is the paprika to choose when looking for a mildly spicy option for barbecued meats, baked potatoes and a wide variety of Spanish dishes, including paella.

    Ground from a blend of different types of Spanish peppers, this intensely smoky paprika is rust red in color and looks nothing like the bland grocery store paprika many of us are used to buying.

Right after harvesting, the peppers are sent to wooden smokehouses filled with smoke from oak wood fires. For 15 days, the peppers are dried in this intense smoke. Once dried, La Dalia grinds the peppers on traditional granite grinders, resulting in silky, rust-red paprika with a deep, smoky flavor.

    Founded in 1913, La Dalia was the first company to produce the famous smoked paprika from La Vera. For generations, this family-owned company has produced paprika of the highest quality using traditional production methods.
