220 g wedge of Vega Sotuelamos Aged sheep's cheese with rosemary (al romero), Manchego style, from the town of Albacete, Castille-La Mancha. In vacuum-sealing packaging.
Cheese made from pasteurised sheep's milk-covered with rosemary and matured for a minimum of 9 - 12 months.
Tasting notes: This sheep's cheese matured with rosemary offers us the unmistakable flavour of our cheeses mixed with the aromas of the wild plants on which our sheep feed. The inside of the cheese is ivory white in colour, with small irregularly distributed eyes offering a nice contrast with the rind, covered with natural rosemary leaves. It is made by combining the most modern and safe manufacturing techniques with the tradition and experience that comes from being artisan cheesemakers.
Flavourful wine cheese pairings: Immerse yourself in our exquisite collection of sheep's milk cheeses with captivating flavours. From the intense aroma of boletus and black truffle to the subtlety of honey oregano, each cheese is a unique experience. We recommend pairing the boletus and black truffle cheese with robust red wines such as Cabernet Sauvignon or Syrah, while the honey oregano cheese pairs perfectly with semi-sweet white wines such as Riesling or Gewürztraminer. For our rosemary cheese, choose dry white wines such as Sauvignon Blanc or Albariño. The intense flavour of black garlic goes well with elegant red wines such as Merlot or Rioja Reserva, and butter and black olive cheese with young and fruity red wines such as Garnacha or young Tempranillo. You can accompany them with fresh fruits such as grapes and pears, as well as dried fruits such as walnuts and almonds. Discover the magic of our flavoured sheep cheeses and enjoy an unforgettable culinary experience.
