Pazo de Lusío comes from the Sierra de Courel in the province of Lugo (Galicia), where mainly heather, brambles and chestnut trees blossom. The honey is transparent, has a dark color and an intense taste. It comes from certified organic farming and is certified by the Consejo Regulador de la Agricultura Ecolóxica de Galicia.
It's pure, floral and sweet as can be. For smothering cheesecakes, strawberries, yogurts and toasted bread.
This raw honey, obtained by cold centrifugation, comes from a unique enclave in the virgin high mountain areas, through sustainable beekeeping. Rich in vitamins and minerals.
It is organic mountain honey whose color can vary from amber to dark amber and can crystallize. It has a smell with floral or vegetable nuances and its flavor is very marked.
Pazo de Lusío apiaries are located in protected high mountain areas.
Pollen mainly belonging to Castanea sativa, Eucalyptus sp., Ericaceae sp., Rubus sp., Rosaceae and Cytisus sp-Ulex sp.
