Carrat pasteurized goat's milk cheese made by La Bauma cheese factory of Borredà (El Berguedà) is one of the great cheeses of Catalonia for its quality and originality recognized and very well received by fans of artisan cheeses.
Made by Catalan master cheesemaker David Blanco. Goat cheese with ash, flowery skin and soft paste. Very creamy, almost liquid and with an exciting citrus point and an acidity reminiscent of yogurt.
Dairy and short-maturing cheese. Ash leather and presented in a square wooden box. Flowered on top of the ash. It is square in shape and weighs approximately 350 gr. They have their own herd of Murcian-Granada goats.
