The word "somalla" comes from the term "somall", which means "half dried" in catalan. It is a sausage similar to the common longaniza, but smaller and with a concentrated and delicious taste.
Since 1916, Pedragosa is family-run business with a tradition for over 100 years making pork delicatessen. They offer some of the best handmade sausages of Catalonia.
